My concept of Goddess is the feminine energy of Divine Spirit. Goddess is recognition and celebration of the woman energies of God. People who hear the words, “life with Goddess,” probably are reminded of the Greek goddesses or the “pagan religions” and, perhaps think of worshipping a particular icon and turning away from God. But replace the word Goddess with God and the phrase “life with God” is readily accepted and understood. The word “God” can be the same word as “Goddess”. Goddess Is A Verb is the conscious inclusion of Feminine Divine in my soul, mind, and body—in other words—my entire life of spirituality. Each of my creations is intended to capture the essence of Goddess in a moment of my life—of Be-ing.
Goddess Is A Verb is wisdom and spirituality in action. Wisdom is recognition of our own Truth. Spirituality is the creative energy that seeks to resonate with the universe. It is the Life Force; a dynamic, developmental process that is intimately connected with every aspect of life and follows the inner urge for growth, knowledge, and relationships. Spirituality is your way of living, connected with your soul, body, and mind; of being in direct touch with the Truth of your being. Every phase of life is sacred, all actions can lead us to total integration, and there is not only one way to know God.
A person’s way of living can be created in such a way as to become a symbol of her spirituality—her life walking with Goddess. Our relationship with Goddess is our relationship with ourselves because the divine in us is who we essentially are. The idea that we are separate from Goddess is merely an illusion of consciousness. The symbolization of our spirituality—as Goddess—is an ongoing conscious creation of harmony between the Life Energies of soul, body, and mind. My poetry and images merely bring to my consciousness an image in which the Divine is in feminine form.
